This is a memory from a three-month summer day camp I taught with a group of fourth-grade students. We drew and assembled this fruit cart together. I’ve kept this piece for many years.
Only recently, with the rise of AI, it has sparked many new ideas for me.

CONTECT
At a day summer camp for 4th-grade students, after creating a fruit-laden bicycle, we use AI to expand those ideas into graphic products. This approach helps enhance children’s artistic skills and imagination.
Multiple variations of this bicycle basket such as graphite, wood texture, clay, and crayon, with the support of AI (ChatGPT).
By the way, I create a teacher character inspired by bamboo.
PROBLEM & SOLUTION
Problem 1:
The kids are well-behaved and energetic, but it’s essential to constantly capture and maintain their attention. There needs to be something curious and engaging; otherwise, they’ll quickly lose focus and run around.
Solution 1: The Bamboo Teacher’s Two Exercises
Exercise 1: Place images of the bicycle into suitable backgrounds.
Exercise 2: Use AI to generate “Did you know?” facts related to the bicycle basket. “Did you know?” is a highly effective format for sparking curiosity and keeping children engaged.
After creating their work, the whole class uploads the images to the school’s Fanpage. They will love it.
REFLECTION
Thanks to the rapid development of AI, creating images and videos has become much easier. I really appreciate this trend, as it makes ideation more accessible and concepts easier to visualize. Especially for tasks that require rapid ideation and sketching, advances in AI have made the process much easier, allowing for quick exploration of multiple styles without the time constraints of the past.
As a result, producing explainer videos has also become much more flexible and comfortable.
I will continue to explore and learn more about AI.
