MY IDEA

CONTECT

Contrast is one of the themes I’m most drawn to. In Prajñā wisdom, emptiness is a kind of negation, also a form of contrast.

In everyday life, we constantly use contrast as a tool to solve problems.

Here’s a riddle:
How can an object be large enough for one purpose, yet short enough for another?

Answer: a folding umbrella.
When opened: large → enough to shield you from the rain (even two people).
When folded: compact → small enough to fit into a backpack or handbag.

👉 Solution:
Design with multiple joints (telescopic structure).
Break the object into smaller segments that can collapse and stack.

In design, contrast sharpens color, strengthens focal points, and clarifies composition. But I believe its power doesn’t stop there. I want to explore how far contrast can go, from 2D into 3D space, from color back to monochrome, from light and shadow to tension and conflict within content itself …

Comming soon …

THE Draft

Some early fragments I created while exploring the idea before shaping it into the final piece.
